How Does Remote Reiki Work?

It may seem unbelievable that someone can receive healing from someone else far away. How can that even happen? Well, it happens the same way as it does when the practitioner and client are in the same room. Much of the session can be done with hands lightly touching the body, but often it is done with hands only hovering and no actual touch at all. The energy goes through the atmosphere in both cases.

How is this possible? According to the electric universe theory, the dominant force in the universe is not gravity, but electricity. There is a web of electrical circuitry connecting everything and everyone. Plasma, one of the four states of matter, makes up 99% of visible matter in the universe. There are filamentary electric currents (known as Birkeland currents or field-aligned currents) flowing along magnetic field lines through plasma, connecting all electrically active systems in the cosmos and on our planet. The Auroras are a visible result of this.

Humans are also an electrically active system, with our heart, brain, and nervous system all producing measurable electromagnetic fields. We each have our own personal biofield (etheric body) extending outside our bodies, just like the currents around the planet and in the galaxy. Everything exists within a continuum of charged, resonant energy. We are all connected by these currents of electromagnetic energy..

Areas of our personal biofield can develop blockages that can be opened or released through energy healing techniques, such as Reiki, bringing it back into balance. Because these electric currents exist throughout the atmosphere, even though we aren't able to see them, we are able to send healing energy along them, wherever we set our intention, removing these blockages and restoring balance to the system.
